СУ-152

The SU-152 was a heavy Soviet self-propelled gun introduced in 1943 and deployed to devastating effect at the Battle of Kursk, where its 152.4 mm howitzer could disable German Tiger and Panther tanks — earning it the nickname 'Zveroboy' (beast killer). The vehicle was built on the KV-1 chassis and was originally designated KV-14 during development. This preserved example in Kazan serves as an open-air war memorial, a common form of World War II commemoration across Russian cities. It offers a close-up look at Soviet heavy armor from the Eastern Front.
