50-мм противотанковая пушка 5 cm FlaK 41

This preserved 5 cm FlaK 41 is an example of the automatic anti-aircraft gun developed by the Wehrmacht in the early 1940s to bridge the gap between light and heavy air-defense artillery. Technically problematic and produced in limited numbers, it saw relatively little frontline impact. Displayed outdoors in Volgograd — the former Stalingrad, site of one of World War II's most catastrophic battles — the piece sits within one of Russia's densest concentrations of wartime memorials and military hardware exhibits.
