БТР-70
This outdoor memorial exhibit presents a BTR-70, a Soviet armored personnel carrier produced in large numbers from the early 1970s onward. The eight-wheeled vehicle was a mainstay of Warsaw Pact motorized infantry and saw combat across multiple conflicts, most notably in Afghanistan. In East Germany it was designated the SPW-70 and served with the National People's Army. Displayed as a static monument in Kazan, the vehicle offers a close-up look at Cold War Soviet military hardware and the era's armored vehicle engineering.
