9K35 Strela (SA-35)

The 9K35 Strela-10 is a Soviet short-range air-defense system developed in the 1970s, mounted on a light tracked vehicle and designed to protect mechanized units against low-flying aircraft and helicopters. The example in Kecel is preserved as a static outdoor exhibit, a remnant of the Warsaw Pact's military footprint in Cold War-era Hungary. It offers military history enthusiasts a close-up look at a largely intact Soviet-era weapons platform.
