Striking 2005 arch bridge with cycle paths spanning the Danube in Bratislava.
Apollo Bridge is a road bridge over the Danube in Bratislava, completed in 2005. Its striking steel arch stretches 231 metres and rises 36 metres above the main span of 517.5 metres — with approach ramps on both banks the total length reaches 854 metres. The four-lane urban road features pedestrian and cycling paths on both sides of the arch. It links city districts across the Danube and has become a recognisable feature of the Bratislava skyline.
