Freital-Hainsberg railway station

Freital-Hainsberg station is a listed heritage monument and a working junction where two railway systems meet: mainline trains on the Dresden–Werdau route share the station with the Weißeritz Valley Railway, one of Saxony's surviving narrow-gauge lines, which runs to Kurort Kipsdorf via Dippoldiswalde. The coexistence of standard and narrow gauge under one heritage-protected roof makes this an unusual point on the Saxon rail network. Dresden S-Bahn services have called here since 1992.
