Neu-Isenburg station

Also known as: Neu-Isenburg

Neu-Isenburg station opened on 1 November 1852, making it one of the oldest in the Rhine-Main region. A little-known distinction: from 1961 until October 2014 it was the only station in Hesse equipped with a motorail loading terminal, where drivers could load their cars onto trains for longer journeys. Today the station is served by Rhine-Main S-Bahn and DB Regio regional trains, with a park-and-ride facility alongside.
