Also known as: Langen (Hess), Langen railway station, Langen (Hess) railway station · +2
Langen (Hess) station stands on the Main-Neckar Railway, opened in 1846 as one of the first railway lines in Hesse. The neoclassicist station building and historic platform canopies are protected heritage monuments under Hessian law. The station layout — two side platforms, an island platform, and a through track — is typical of mid-19th-century German railway design. Today it is served by Rhine-Main S-Bahn and classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.
