Neustadt (Schwarzwald) station

The station building at Neustadt (Schwarzwald) was constructed in 1887 as part of the Höllentalbahn line connecting Freiburg im Breisgau with Donaueschingen. Built during the Gründerzeit era of rapid German railway expansion, the structure is today a protected cultural monument — a rare intact example of late 19th-century railway architecture in the Black Forest. Sitting at 805 metres above sea level, the station remains an active stop with three platform tracks, its listed building now housing a DB ticket agency.
