Titisee railway station

Titisee railway station sits at 858 metres above sea level in the Black Forest and has been in operation since 1887, when the Höllentalbahn line opened between Neustadt and Freiburg. It serves as a junction for two historic mountain railways: the Höllentalbahn running through the dramatic Höllental gorge toward Donaueschingen, and the Dreiseenbahn branching off toward Seebrugg. For most visitors, the station functions primarily as a trailhead for hiking and cycling routes around Titisee, the largest natural lake in the Black Forest.
