Sendai Station

Sendai Station is the central rail hub of Sendai city in Miyagi Prefecture, northern Japan. Opened in 1887 during the Meiji era, it sits on the boundary of the Aoba and Miyagino districts. Today it serves as the primary interchange between Shinkansen bullet train services and local lines, making it the main gateway to the Tōhoku region.
