Bischofswiesen is a small municipality in the Berchtesgadener Land district in the far southeast of Upper Bavaria, situated between the Untersberg and Lattengebirge massifs. The DB station here lies on the Berchtesgaden local railway line, serving as a stop for visitors heading into the surrounding alpine foothills.
