Blaundos

Blaundos was a small ancient town situated on the border between the Lydian and Phrygian regions of western Anatolia, whose ruins lie near the modern village of Sülümenli, roughly 20 km south of Uşak in Turkey. The settlement flourished during the Hellenistic and Roman periods without ever growing into a major urban center — making it an archaeologically valuable example of a typical provincial town that escaped later large-scale redevelopment. Visitors encounter a largely undeveloped site with scattered wall remnants and terrain contours hinting at the original layout, set against the rolling Anatolian countryside.
