Botanical Garden Augsburg

Augsburg's Botanical Garden was established in 1936 on a modest 1.7-hectare plot and has since grown to around 10 hectares, now home to more than 3,100 plant species and varieties from across the globe. The garden is listed as a protected monument in Bavaria. Its most striking seasonal display comes in spring, when over one million bulb plants — tulips, narcissi, hyacinths — burst into colour across open beds and rotating borders. Opening hours extend to 21:00 from May through mid-August, making early-evening visits in summer light a practical option. An entrance fee applies.
