Chengdu Tianfu International Airport

Also known as: ZUTF, TFU

Chengdu

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport has been the second and larger airport of the western Chinese metropolis since June 2021. It lies 51 kilometres southeast of the city in Jianyang. With four terminals and six runways it ranks among China's largest airports; the curved terminal roofs reference the Sun Bird gold disk from the nearby Jinsha archaeological park. The older Chengdu Shuangliu Airport remains in parallel operation. A metro connection reaches the city centre in about an hour.
