Tirana International Airport Nënë Tereza

Also known as: Tirana Rinas Airport, TIA, LATI · +9

Tirana

Tirana International Airport, officially Aeroporti Nene Tereza after Mother Teresa, is Albania's largest airport and one of only two international airports in the country. It lies 17 kilometres northwest of Tirana near the village of Rinas, after which it was previously named. By passenger numbers it handles more traffic than Skopje, Pristina and Podgorica combined, and since the 2020s has been the fastest-growing airport in the western Balkans. Buses run regularly from the terminal into central Tirana; the journey takes 30 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
