Chiu Keng Wan Shan
Chiu Keng Wan Shan is a 196-metre ridge in Hong Kong's Sai Kung district, lying between Tiu Keng Leng and Yau Tong on the New Territories border with Kowloon. The summit is not on the official trail network, but an informal path leads up in about an hour from the Lam Tin end of the MTR. The top opens onto a rarely visited view across Junk Bay, the Lei Yue Mun channel and the Kwun Tong skyline. On clear days you can see as far as Stanley and the Lamma Islands. The terrain is exposed and fiercely hot in summer, so at least two litres of water per person is wise.
