City Investing Building

The City Investing Building stood at 165 Broadway in Lower Manhattan from 1908 to 1968 and was, on opening, one of the bulkiest office buildings in the world with 33 storeys and roughly 147 metres. Designed by Francis Kimball in Beaux-Arts style, it housed the City Investing Company and for a time the Hudson Terminal. It was demolished in 1968 to make way for One Liberty Plaza. Today nothing of it remains.
