DC Towers

Also known as: Donau City Towers

The DC Towers are an ensemble of three skyscrapers designed by French star architect Dominique Perrault in Vienna's Donau City on the northern bank of the Danube. DC Tower 1, opened in February 2014, is Austria's tallest building at 250 metres and houses the Melia Hotel with the Sky restaurant on the 57th floor. Perrault's design plays with a folded, jagged facade on one side and a smooth mirrored front on the other, so the towers look completely different depending on daylight and vantage point. DC Tower 2 is still under construction; the third tower was completed in 2022 as a student residence. Together with the Vienna International Centre the trio forms a striking modern skyline along the river. Visitors can use the 57th-floor bar in DC Tower 1 for a panoramic view over Vienna.
