Goethepark is a small green space in Berlins Wedding district, wedged between Transvaalstrasse and Seestrasse. It was laid out in 1922, in the early years of the Weimar Republic, when Berlin was deliberately creating local recreation areas in its working-class quarters. Today it serves mainly as a neighbourhood park for families from the surrounding apartment blocks, with play corners, mature trees and rows of benches. It has little tourist relevance, but works for a short stop between Muellerstrasse and Seestrasse. Seestrasse U-Bahn station is three minutes away.
