Prime Time Theater

Prime Time Theater is an independent stage in Berlin's Wedding district, founded in 2004 and describing itself as a modern pop-theatre and folk-theatre. The Muellerstrasse venue made its name with "Gutes Wedding, Schlechtes Wedding", a soap-opera parody running monthly episodes since 2007 with a fixed ensemble, taking the piss out of local landmarks from kebab shops to the job centre. The name originally referred to the 8:15 pm curtain, classic German TV prime time; in 2025 the stage moved it forward to 7:30 pm after an audience survey. Alongside the in-house series, the 99-seat hall hosts readings, comedy nights and guest performances, with the bar built straight into the foyer.
