The Abdurrahman Pasha Mosque in Peqin, popularly Xhamia me Sahat - Mosque with Clock - is the landmark of this small town on the old Via Egnatia between Elbasan and Durres. It was endowed in the late 18th century by the local Ottoman governor Abdurrahman Pasha. The square clock tower attached to the mosque is a rarity in Albania and gives the complex its common name. Protected as a cultural monument, it survived the demolition wave during the 1967 religion ban; restored after 1991, it is again in use for prayer.
