Newton Suites is a 36-storey residential skyscraper on Newton Road, Singapore, completed in 2008 and designed by award-winning local firm WOHA Architects. Standing 120 metres tall, the building is distinguished by a series of sky gardens — lush, multi-storey planted terraces integrated into the tower's facade at regular intervals, designed to bring greenery and natural ventilation into a dense urban high-rise. WOHA used the project to pioneer a model of vertical landscape architecture in the tropics, a concept the firm went on to refine in later Singapore landmarks. The building is a private condominium and not open to visitors, but it is regularly cited in architecture circles as an early benchmark for biophilic high-rise design in Southeast Asia.
