Praterstern

Wien Praterstern station in the 2nd district of Leopoldstadt is one of Vienna's busiest transit hubs, handling up to 110,000 passengers daily. It functionally replaced the historic Nordbahnhof — opened in 1865 and heavily bombed in 1945 — when it opened in its current form in 1959. The interchange connects the U1 subway line, several tram and bus routes, and regional rail services, and serves as the main gateway to the nearby Prater park.
