West End Bridge

The West End Bridge is a steel tied-arch span crossing the Ohio River in Pittsburgh, roughly a mile below the famous confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the bridge links the West End neighborhood to the Chateau district on Pittsburgh's North Side. Its vantage point offers a clear upstream view toward the Point, where all three rivers meet — one of the defining geographical features of the city.
