Kahlenbergerdorf Parish Church

The Pfarrkirche Kahlenbergerdorf in Vienna's 19th district of Doebling stands at the foot of the Leopoldsberg in one of the city's most picturesque old village cores. Dedicated to Saint George, the church belongs to the Archdiocese of Vienna and is a protected monument. It sits in a bend of the old Danube branch, framed by Heurige wine taverns and steep vineyards, and is a starting point for the climb to the Leopoldsberg. Arriving by boat on the Danube you see the church standing out against the dense green of the Bisamberg side.
