ATR 42

The ATR 42 is a twin-turboprop regional aircraft developed by Avions de Transport Régional, the French-Italian consortium headquartered in Toulouse, and is preserved here as a static outdoor exhibit. As the smaller of the two ATR variants — the stretched ATR 72 came later — it played a notable role in short-haul European aviation from the mid-1980s onward. Its presence in Toulouse reflects the city's deep identity as a center of European aerospace manufacturing. Visitors can view the aircraft up close; wheelchair access is not available according to current data.
