Aviation HistoryExhibition Piece
The ATR 72 is a twin-engine turboprop regional aircraft developed by the French-Italian consortium Avions de Transport Régional (ATR), headquartered in Toulouse. An extended derivative of the ATR 42, it seats up to 78 passengers and has served short-haul routes worldwide since its first flight in 1988 — particularly valued on thinner routes where fuel economy matters most. This static exhibit allows visitors to examine the airframe and cockpit up close, offering a concrete look at one of Europe's most widely produced regional aircraft. Toulouse, as the manufacturing base of ATR, gives the display an added layer of industrial authenticity.
