Brugg railway station

Brugg railway station, opened in 1856, serves as a junction for three rail lines in the canton of Aargau: the Bözberg route between Zurich and Basel, the Aare Valley line to Aarau, and the Birrfeld line to Lenzburg. Historically, the station grounds lay entirely within the neighbouring municipality of Windisch until 1863, with the communal boundary now running along the edge of the track area. The station building is listed as a Swiss cultural heritage site of regional significance (Class B).
