Haijima Station

Haijima Station is a railway interchange in Akishima, western Tokyo Prefecture, opened in 1894 during the Meiji period. Jointly operated by JR East and Seibu Tetsudo, it connects several lines and serves primarily as a commuter hub linking the western Tokyo suburbs to the city center. For visitors it functions as a transit interchange rather than a destination in its own right.
