Tirana railway station

Tirana Station was the city's terminus until 2013, sitting at the northern edge of the centre at the end of Bulevardi Zogu i Pare. It served the line from the port of Durres and was for decades the rail gateway to the capital. After closure it was demolished, replaced by the reshaped Skanderbeg boulevard area. Today nothing of the station remains - Bulevardi Zogu i Pare instead opens out with greenery and cafes.
