Toyohashi Station

Toyohashi Station, opened in 1888 during the Meiji period, sits in Aichi Prefecture on Honshū and is jointly operated by JR Central and Meitetsu. It is one of the few regional stations served by Shinkansen bullet trains, making it a practical interchange point between the Nagoya metropolitan area and the coastal corridor toward Hamamatsu. For visitors it functions primarily as a transit hub rather than a destination in its own right.
