Ballinbreich Castle

Ballinbreich Castle is the ruin of a medieval tower house on the southern bank of the River Tay in Fife, Scotland. Only fragmentary walls survive today, though the site is protected as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Its remote riverside setting makes it a quiet, largely unvisited spot — the appeal lies in the weathered stonework against the broad Tay rather than any formal visitor infrastructure.
