Bischofswerda
Victorian EraRailway Station
Boppard station sits at the edge of the town centre close to the Rhine and functions as a junction station, serving both the Left Rhine Railway between Cologne and Mainz and the Hunsrückbahn branch line to Emmelshausen. Its original 1859 station building was a listed cultural monument but was nonetheless demolished in 1989 and replaced with a utilitarian structure. With three platform tracks it remains the main rail hub for the town of Boppard.
