İsili Höyük

İsili Höyük is an archaeological settlement mound near Ceyhan in Turkey's southern Çukurova plain. Tells of this type accumulate over millennia through successive layers of occupation and are characteristic of the region between the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean coast, one of Anatolia's earliest agricultural landscapes.
