Başar Dağı

Başar Dağı is a prominent peak in the Adana region of southern central Anatolia, visible from as far as 60 kilometres away — including from the town of Kozan on clear days — thanks to its sharp silhouette rising above the foothills of the Taurus Mountains toward the Çukurova plain. Visitors describe the ascent as steep and physically demanding, rewarding those who reach the top with broad panoramic views over the surrounding mountain terrain. A head for heights is advisable.
