Letzigrund

The Letzigrund is Zurich's principal athletics and football stadium, seating around 26,000 spectators in the Letzipark district. It was completely rebuilt for UEFA Euro 2008 in just under two years, with the oval running track deliberately kept as the stadium's visual signature. Home to both FC Zürich and Grasshopper Club, it is deeply embedded in local football culture, but its international reputation rests largely on the Zurich Diamond League athletics meeting, one of the sport's most prestigious annual stops. The arena also doubles as a major concert venue — Coldplay, Taylor Swift, and U2 have all performed here. Tram and suburban rail connections make it one of Zurich's most accessible large venues.
