Zürichberg

Zürichberg is Zurich's forested home hill on the right shore of the lake, rising to 671 meters and forming a large green belt at the city's edge. A dense network of trails makes it a year-round destination for joggers, hikers, and mountain bikers, with groomed cross-country skiing tracks appearing in harder winters. On clear days, clearings near the Zürichberg restaurant open up wide views over the city rooftops, Lake Zurich, and the Alpine chain beyond. The hilltop restaurant draws local families for Sunday excursions, while the surrounding forest remains a daily escape for city residents.
