Park am alten Friedhof

Park am alten Friedhof is a small neighbourhood green space in central Würselen, laid out on a former burial ground. Scattered gravestones hint at its past use — most prominently a large stone cross with a corpus and the Vervier family gravestone, both preserved near the local fire station. The park was recently modernised with new paths and flowerbeds, and a newly built children's playground makes it a practical stop for families. Maintenance of the newer sections is still catching up, but the quiet setting among old memorials gives the park an understated, contemplative character unusual for a neighbourhood green.
