Place Montreal Trust is a seven-storey shopping mall opened in 1988 at the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street and McGill College Avenue in downtown Montreal. Its roughly 320,000 square feet of retail space hosts over a hundred stores and draws around 14 million visitors annually. The mall's signature feature is its central atrium fountain, whose water spout reaches 30 metres — the highest indoor fountain in North America. A direct connection to Montreal's Underground City (RÉSO) means shoppers can navigate the entire downtown core without stepping outside, a practical draw during the city's harsh winters.
