Mall of Berlin

Also known as: Leipziger Platz Quartier

The Mall of Berlin, officially LP12 Mall of Berlin, opened in 2014 on Leipziger Platz in Mitte and occupies the northeastern segment of the historic octagonal square next to the Bundesrat. Roughly 270 shops spread across three levels covering about 76,000 square meters of retail, complemented by a large food court and a tall arcaded passage that runs through the building and frames a sightline to the Bundesrat. The quarter marks the rebuilding of a site that lay wasted after 1945 and along which the Berlin Wall once ran. Today visitors combine shopping with a short walk to the nearby Brandenburg Gate and the Holocaust Memorial.
