Suphi Paşa Konağı
AtatürkMuseum

Şakirpaşa Konağı is a preserved Ottoman-era urban mansion in Adana's Seyhan district, now open to visitors as a museum. Buildings of this type — known as konak, characterised by timber construction, ornate reception rooms, and a strict separation between public and private quarters — were the prestige residences of Anatolia's upper class during the late Ottoman period and the early Turkish Republic. The interior is said to evoke the domestic atmosphere of a prosperous Adana family from roughly the 1900s to the 1920s. Specific construction date and original ownership remain unconfirmed in available sources, so details are best verified on site.
