Adana Büyükşehir Belediyesi Bülent Ecevit Müzesi

The Bülent Ecevit Museum, run by the Adana metropolitan municipality, is a small memorial exhibition dedicated to the Turkish politician and four-time prime minister Bülent Ecevit (1925–2006). Known affectionately as 'Karaoğlan,' Ecevit was the defining figure of Turkey's center-left politics in the 20th century, most notably ordering the 1974 military intervention in Cyprus. The display includes personal effects — his trademark hat and overcoat, ties, briefcase, and everyday items — presented openly without glass cases, giving an unusually intimate feel. The museum is tucked away in a quiet spot (entrance on the side), admission is free, and staff greet visitors personally.
