Atatürk PARKI

Atatürk Parkı is a well-maintained urban green space in central Adana, shaded by a diverse canopy of semi-tropical and tropical trees that make it a cool retreat even in the city's intense summer heat. A large central fountain anchors the park's layout, accompanied by a statue of Ziya Pasha — the 19th-century Ottoman poet and governor who served in Adana and remains a culturally significant local figure. The park is fully wheelchair-accessible and comes alive during the annual Adana Orange Festival, when it fills with crowds and an festival atmosphere. At night, illuminated paths and the lit fountain draw locals for evening strolls, making it a genuine neighborhood gathering point across all hours.
