Schloß Hamm
Schloss Hamm is a castle-like manor in the village of Hamm in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm district of Rhineland-Palatinate, evolving from one of the largest medieval fortifications in the Eifel region. The original Burg Hamm formed part of a defensive network controlling key routes through the Eifel highlands, and the surviving towers and walls still convey the scale of that medieval stronghold. The entire complex is listed as a heritage monument under the name Burg Hamm. Surrounded by a small schloss park and set within the quiet Eifel landscape, the site appeals primarily to those interested in medieval military architecture and regional history; public access details should be verified locally before visiting.
