Akademietheater Munich

Studio stage of the Bavarian Theatre Academy within the Prinzregententheater complex, home to graduating student productions.

The Akademietheater in Munich-Bogenhausen is the experimental stage of the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy. Since opening in 1996, it has given directing, acting and musical theatre students a professional stage for their graduation productions. The venue is located in the rear building of the historic Prinzregententheater and consists of three flexibly divisible spaces that can be used individually or simultaneously. With up to 250 seats, it is an intimate house that showcases the next generation of theatre talent.
