Apodaca Provincial Park

Apodaca Provincial Park is a compact 12-hectare nature reserve on the eastern shore of Bowen Island, British Columbia, at the entrance to Howe Sound. Established in 1954, it sits within the Greater Vancouver Regional District but requires a short BC Ferries crossing from Horseshoe Bay — a natural barrier that keeps it noticeably quieter than mainland parks of similar size. Short hiking trails wind through old coastal forest of western hemlock and Douglas fir, opening at points to unobstructed views across Howe Sound toward the Coast Mountains.
