Apostelnkloster

Apostelnkloster refers to the former monastic precinct surrounding the Romanesque collegiate church of St. Aposteln at Neumarkt in Cologne. The foundation dates to the 11th century and is one of the city's celebrated twelve Romanesque churches. Little of the original cloister fabric survives today, absorbed into the surrounding urban fabric over the centuries. Visitors will primarily encounter the church itself as the main standing remnant of the medieval monastic complex.
