Seyhan Merkez Park is Adana's expansive central park, stretching along the banks of the Seyhan River and widely regarded as one of the largest urban parks in Turkey. Its grounds include twelve ponds, a large outdoor amphitheater, and a network of running and cycling tracks, with a small park train that circles the entire area. The Sabancı Merkez Mosque, one of Adana's landmark religious buildings, sits within the park boundaries, adding a spiritual dimension to the green space. Orange trees line many of the paths, giving the park a distinctly Mediterranean feel. On weekends it draws a steady crowd of families, joggers, and locals looking for a quiet escape from the city's busier districts.
