Belvedere on the Pfingstberg

On Potsdam highest hill, Frederick William IV had a viewing palace built in Italian High Renaissance style between 1847 and 1863. Towers, loggias, a water basin in the courtyard - and a panorama across the Havel lakes to Berlin that justifies the name Belvedere.
